Gradings and Seminars

Grading exams for our club are held by Master Murdoch VII, who has a group of schools in and around Aberdeen. Master Murdoch holds a special training session (which we call seminars) more or less once a month in Aberdeen or Peterhead. This is always on a Saturday. These morning training sessions are followed by an afternoon grading exam. One is allowed to come to the seminar in the morning to get some extra training, without taking the grading test, but one cannot come for the grading test without attending the seminar as well. Wherever possible, we always provide transport to and from gradings.

The training session alone costs £9.50, the grading and the training session cost £34 for colourbelts (Blackbelt gradings are more expensive).
