  • Do-San is the pseudonym of the patriot Ahn Chang Ho (1876 - 1938). The 24 movements represent his entire life which he devoted to furthering the education of Korea and its independence movement.

Ready position: Parallel Ready Stance
1 Walking Stance Outer Forearm High Obverse Block (move the left foot towards B)
2 Walking Stance Front Forefist Middle Reverse Punch (do not move your feet)
3 Walking Stance Outer Forearm High Obverse Block (move your left foot half way across your stance
and then move your right foot forwards towards A)
4 Walking stance Front Forefist Middle Reverse Punch (do not move your feet)
5 L-Stance Knifehand Guarding Block (move the left foot towards D)
6 Walking Stance Straight Fingertip Thrust (move the right foot forwards towards D)
7a Release From a Grab (Move into a stance like Sitting Stance by twisting
your heels forward approx 35 degrees
and lifting both heels slightly)
7b Walking Stance Back Fist High Obverse Side Strike (move the left foot Counter-clockwise towards D,
perform 7a and 7b as one Count)
8 Walking Stance Back Fist High Obverse Side Strike (move the right foot forward towards D)
9 Walking Stance Outer Forearm High Obverse Block (move left foot Counter-clockwise towards E)
10 Walking Stance Front Forefist Middle Reverse Punch (do not move your feet)
11 Walking Stance Outer Forearm High Obverse Block (move the left foot half way across your stance
and then move your right foot towards F)
12 Walking Stance Front Forefist Middle Reverse Punch (do not move your feet)
13 Walking Stance Outer Forearm High Wedging Block (move your left foot diagonally towards line CE facing towards A)
14 Middle Front Snap Kick (kick towards A,
keeping hands in the same position as 13)
15 Walking Stance Front Forefist Middle Obverse Punch (land in walking stance after kick
and perform punch at the same time)
16 Walking Stance Front Forefist Middle Reverse Punch (do not move your feet,
perform 15 and 16 in fast motion)
17 Walking Stance Outer Forearm High Wedging Block (move your right foot diagonally towards line CF facing towards C)
18 Middle Front Snap Kick (kick towards C,
keeping hands in the same position as 17)
19 Walking Stance Front Forefist Middle Obverse Punch (land in walking stance after kick
and perform punch at the same time)
20 Walking Stance Front Forefist Middle Reverse Punch (do not move your feet,
perform 19 and 20 in a fast motion)
21 Walking Stance Forearm Obverse Rising Block (move your left foot towards C)
22 Walking Stance Forearm Obverse Rising Block (move your right foot towards C)
23 Sitting Stance Knifehand Middle Side Strike (move left foot Counter-clockwise towards B)
24 Sitting Stance Knifehand Middle Side Strike (move your left foot next to your right foot
and step towards A with the right foot)
