Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art, famous for its kicking and jumping techniques, but you will also learn blocking, punching and sparring. We teach ITF Taekwon-Do. Our classes are designed to accommodate beginners and advanced students alike.
Feel free to join one of our training sessions. There are always a few beginners in class, so you won't stand out. Your first two weeks of training are for free, so you have a chance to decide if you enjoy Taekwon-Do.
Meet us at the Fresher's Fayre on September 21st. Find out more about the club and training times! We welcome new members of all levels.
Congratulations to Bill, who passed his grading to 9th kup, yellow tag. Well done!
Kuk Sool Won is another Korean martial art and tonight their 2nd and 3rd Dahns will be competing. Entry is £7 for spectators. It should be interesting to watch this. Tomorrow, Saturday their lower grades will be competing. I believe the entry fee covers all days of the competition.
Please note that class on Sunday, 30/5/10 is cancelled cause of exams/instructors being out of town. Our last class will be on Friday, June 4th. There is a grading one June 5th. Training will start again in September, so please check back for more details nearer the time. If you will be in Aberdeen over the summer and would like to train, please see Mr Mamer or Iris for details. There are options of joining other local schools for summer, or meeting up for informal sessions in the park. Keeping up training over the summer means that it won't take so long to get back into it in autumn.
